WTF
is the Love Actually? Niket says something
after half dozen pints, first word of the evening. By his pitch, we all knew it
was not a question; it was perhaps the title of the lecture he was going to
deliver. With increasing number of pints, greater feelings will flow, straight
equation for boys.
“When our feelings are not reciprocated,
we have a propensity to abhor it, aren’t we? “ – He asks.
Our
identity and bullshit ego is entirely perceptive and pretended. Precisely this
could be slighted or euphoric which implies that ego is an inconsistent,
adjustable and mutable, in one word it is not flexible. Our individuality is speculative and dynamic. Invariably,
we generate a daily report of our self-esteem much like a weather update. And
still we are swift to conclude that the other person doesn’t understand us. The
million dollar question is do we really
recognize ourselves?
Whatever
we do, we want something in return. We are all traders. We are traders in life,
we are traders in virtue, and we are traders in religion. And alas! We are also
traders in love.
They all say that love is eternal, love is unending and real love under no circumstances dies. Absolutely wrong. WTF, how can be this possible? The real love dies sooner than the unreal love, doesn’t it?
In
contrary unreal love can live longer, because it is unreal, it can’t die
hypothetically? It is like an artificial flower, which stays forever. If you
are pretending, you can go on pretending as long as you want, you can fake it
with makeup and fake smile, You can always you are happy, you can always act
like life is a movie and there are cameras everywhere. But will you be doing
justice to yourself? Whom are you fooling?
But
what if something happens to you, I say something like real love happens to you and then one day it vanishes,
evaporates - what can you do? You may have tears in your eyes but what can you
do? It is no longer there. You had not brought it into life form, you cannot
keep hold of it forever. You cannot prevent it. It is something beyond you. It
just passes you like a wind, perhaps not even aware of you. You just came in
the way, and the wind passed by, touching you, playing with your hair, playing
with your body, soul and feelings — and went on.
And
this idiot goes on turning his love into hate because again and again it went
on, and again and again he hopes that it is going to be everlasting. Your whole
love energy becomes hate.
True
love is very momentary, but what a moment. Such that one can lose the whole of
eternity for it, can risk the whole of eternity for it.
Why
force yourself to be confined to one love? Nature does not intend it so. Nature
intends you to know that love in as many ways as possible…. Each love is
unique. There is no competition. There is no quarrel. And the more you love,
the more enriched your being is. There is a kind of love which makes you free.
Niket
continues.
So
I am the reason for the entire dilemma, the suffering, the anxiety, the
despair. Only one thing I want to add: be intelligent. These troubles are not
because love has gone; these are because you are idiotic. So if you have to
leave something, leave your idiocy. But people leave loving, and stick to their
idiotic mind. Be gifted, and then love will give you all the colours of the
rainbow. One person may touch one part of your heart, but other parts will
remain without growth. If you cling, then one part becomes a monster and all
other parts shrink.
Love blossoms unexpectedly and without law, and must be felt for the brief hour of its duration. Let love flow unconditionally, let yourself feel the rainbow.

What is love Actually man ?
ReplyDeleteA moment or a person or a feeling on a moment for a person ?
We all are traders and want something in return ?

But real love really die someday and then u may not ever feel the same again, but it makes you tough and ready for the future. It makes you self dependent.
Pritam, wish I could talk like you. You took many hearts away i guess....
Some facts are hard to believe, until someone show that to you.
ReplyDeleteI must not say your write up is very good, but the way u wrote is close to heart.

Hum jeete hain ek baar, marte hain ek baar, aur pyaar bhi ek hi baar hota hain.....
ReplyDeleteWhat u say # ?
When some one loves some one despite the fact she would never be his, that is love actually.
ReplyDeleteLove is real when you smile for her, despite when she says she was with him some moments back and had a great time. You smile because you love is real and As you said Pritam, real love does die one day, but then you cherish those memories with old friend and smile, try to sketch her face in the cloud and smile thinking that she would be happy.
But yes real love does die someday, but dead things have a memories left, love may die, but how can we erase the memories ?
you are truly said a fantastic true, "It may be a moment, but what a moment"
Pritam, thanks for such a nice write up. Gob bless you for spreading love and showing a right path to the people who are lost. God bless you..
Amazing, but this idiot goes on turning his love into hate because again and again it went on, and again and again he hopes that it is going to be everlasting.
ReplyDeleteWe all are normal human beings , how can we not erase the past and forget everything so easily , like it never happened ?
If it were you Pal, how would you forget ?
It remind me of a movie.
ReplyDeleteLove Actually, nice movie.
My friend showed me this today in office, Nice concept.
ReplyDeleteIndian do realize love much better than we do.
